1. DECIDE YOUR APPROACH

3. TOOLS & PRODUCTS
The most common tools in a painting kit are paint, paint rollers, paint brushes, paint roller extension pole, sandpaper, masking tape, paint tray, rags, cotton canvas drop cloth and putty knife/ blades. The right tool gives the painter the ease to finish the work in the minimum time possible. The tools also come in varied qualities depending on the type of finish needed. The painter must come across the right tool in order to give the painting a pleasing and appealing finish.
4. QUANTITY OF PAINT
Coverage of the paint and the surface conditions of the wall play a vital role in the estimation of the quantity of the paint that is to be used. A well finished wall always gets the most coverage with respect to the Dry Film Thickness of the paint along with its coverage.
5. PREPARATION
The room must be prepared well before painting since the paint can stick to various surfaces like sofas, floors, etc creating undesired damages. The wall must be well plastered and well finished. 6. PAINTING TECHNIQUE
